Generative AI for Teaching and Learning

Welcome to the 'Generative AI for Teaching and Learning' Hackathon, an innovative event designed to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and education. In this hackathon, participants are challenged to harness the power of generative AI to revolutionize how we teach and learn. From developing AI teaching assistants, automated exam marking tools, and interactive learning modules, to creating solutions for content summarization, language learning, and student well-being monitoring, this hackathon is an opportunity for thinkers, developers, educators, and students to collaborate and create AI-driven solutions. It aims to address key educational challenges and unlock new possibilities in personalized learning, academic integrity, mental health support, and career guidance. This event promises to be a breeding ground for forward-thinking ideas and groundbreaking tools that could shape the future of education.

The challenges in this hackathon will focus on novel applications of Generative AI in education, from machine learning and data analytics to cognitive assistants.

Who can attend?

Students, Academics, and Professionals.
We have limited space. Make sure you register and secure your place.

Who can participate in the Hackathon Competition?

You must be a student in Australia (High School, Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, PostDoc) to be able to participate in the competition. You will register with your student card on the hacakthon day.
Steps:
  1. Students should form a group of between 2 and 5 students.
  2. Each group member should register individually online. Please check the Registration link in the next Section.
  3. Register your group at the venue.
  4. You will need to have a valid student card, and register with your school/university email address.



Prizes

-$1000 Gift Cards for the 1st winner team.

-$400 Gift Cards for the 2nd winner team.

-$200 Gift Cards for the 3rd winner team.

-Certificates of achievement for the top 3 performing teams.

-Give away gifts from the sponsors.

-Certificate of attendance for the Hackathon.
